We will not guarantee that every dog will become a super star Field Trial champion. We will, however, patiently work with your dog, without using some of the more "traditional trainers" harsh training methods, to produce the most that your dog has to offer. We do not believe in beating or whipping dogs as part of our training program.
Cerda-Fied Gundogs believes in using repetition and association; combined with time and extreme patience. This method has worked well over the years with many hundreds of dogs that would normally have been "washed out" by other trainers.
Cerda-Fied Gundogs does not take on a full string of dogs, and then haul them cross country, from field trial to field trial, with only occasional work. In fact we only attend 5-6 trials per year, which are all normally within a few hours of the kennel.
Our goal is to train a good friend and hunting companion for you.

Lab Puppies For Sale The dam, MADYLAN’S DIXIE PRINCESS CPR, (see
picture above) is Chocolate and Certified through the American Pointing
Labrador Association. She is a working dog for waterfowl and upland
game. She has ran in three pointing lab trials with 2 second place
finishes and 1 first place finish. She is sired from Grand Master
Pointing Retriever, Master Hunter, GMPR HIGH SIERRA JAZZ’S DRIFTER MH.
About Drifter:
Drifter is a dark chocolate Labrador, the son of AFC, CFC, CAFC Chugach
Hills Jazz's Rascal X Black Ruby Kiss. Both the male line (Jazztime) and
the female line (Trieven) are black and have excellent field trial
tradition. He is currently an APLA Grand Master Pointing Retriever,
which he has accomplished at the age of 27 months. Drifter received his
AKC Master Hunter title one year later at the age of three and qualified
for '99 Master National, which he ran in and Passed. In January of 2000
Drifter went to California to train under Kenny Trott and begin his
field trial career. After only 3 months of training, he became All-Age
Qualified. In his 2nd Open All-Age trial he placed 5th for a Reserve
Jam. He followed that up two weeks later with a 3rd place Open finish to
start earning points toward his FC title. Then, on July 30th, in only
his 6th start, Drifter won his first Open field trial with 79 dogs
running. Whatever the game: Hunting, Pointing, Hunt Test or Field
Trials, Drifter is proving he can adjust and be an incredibly versatile
Lab. At the time of this writing, no other Lab has earned titles as
Grand Master Pointing Retriever, AKC Master Hunter, and Field Trial
Winner. The sire, CAMPBELL’S FRIENDLY MR. GHOST, is a
yellow with another incredible pedigree. He has not yet been tested but
has shown great promise through training. He is sired from 1.5 x Grand
Master Pointing Retriever and Senior Hunter, 1.5xGMPR JACK’S BIN DER DUN
DAT SH. His dam is 4 x Grand Master Pointing Retriever, Hunter Retriever
Champion, Master Hunter, Master National Hunter, 4xGMPR HRCH CYPRESS
CREEKS HARLEYS MS MAC MH MNH. The pups were born on May 29th. They
